Fixed Route Adaptation

Optrak4 also provides specialist functionality for fixed-route planning; letting planners evaluate and optimise routes on a daily or weekly basis, to particular areas or sets of customers.

This is achieved by ensuring the 80% of orders that follow the same pattern are kept – essential when the driver and the customer know each other, know the time which delivery or collection will take place and what site-specific issues could arise – but the additional 20%, made up of last minute orders, or ones placed by new customers are added, with the user controlling how much the system is allowed to change a fixed trip (e.g. only add things into existing sequence, re-order but keep on vehicle, swap to another vehicle if needed).
