Optrak4 has been designed to allow you to see the information you need to fully understand the planning problem and solution, in the way that best suits your planning process. The graphical user interface (GUI) is designed to simplify complex data requirement whilst providing control functionality to identify, amend and share operational outputs to other users in your organisation – whether that be trips, loading instructions, delivery notes or real-time updates.
Optrak4 is a sophisticated system with many options and ways of changing and viewing data. To simplify the daily job of the planner, as part of the implementation we create a “Process” menu.
The Process Menu takes the user, one step-at-a-time, through the actions from import of data from the company’s ERP system via data checks and optimisation, to printing and export of the results – particularly useful for holiday or relief staff who, although trained, may only use the system occasionally. By following the major steps on the process menu as documented in the Process Documentation, they are able to work through the session and produce properly optimised results with a minimum of effort.
The Optrak4 system has a built-in scripting language that allows any sequence of data manipulation actions or optimisation to run from a script, allowing you to automate key parts of your process – such as orders and sites download, data checks and customers prioritisation.
These scripts are built by Optrak4 during implementation – off the back of requirement gathering – ensuring that your planners can streamline operational management from Day 1.
As part of the Optrak Sync service, Optrak4 consultants will provide a regular assessment and modification of scripts and menu items that have been set up as part of the implementation process when a new system was commissioned, allowing your business to maintain efficiency in day-to-day routing.
