ADR
The European agreement governing the carriage of dangerous goods by road, setting driver certification, vehicle, labelling, and documentation requirements.
Also: Accord Dangereux Routier
ADR is the European agreement on the international carriage of dangerous goods by road (from the French Accord relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route). It governs the movement of hazardous products — fuels, chemicals, gases, and similar — and sets requirements for driver training and certification, vehicle and tank specification, labelling, and documentation. In Optrak, ADR certification is one of the driver qualifications treated as a compatibility constraint between drivers, vehicles, and loads, so the optimiser only assigns dangerous-goods work to suitably certified drivers and compliant vehicles.
